Our courses - presenting skills

Over a 30-year period we have developed a presentation skills course that teaches you by doing. This is not a course where the host stands up and tells you what to do, this is a practical course.

During a typical 2-day course you will present up to 7 times.

If you are new to presenting this brings confidence by doing it yourself and by watching 70 or so presentations from your colleagues on the course.

If you are an experience presenter it will hone your skills further.

In a group of no more than 12, you will present 7 times over the two days. You will learn confidence, how to put your points across succinctly and most of all to enjoy presenting.

For most people in business, presentations and public speaking are regular occurrences. It could be an internal meeting where you are speaking to colleagues more senior than you, a presentation to customers, a virtual meeting or a public event like a conference.

Most people ae nervous. This course teaches you ways to cope with those nerves and use them to your advantage. It is not about PowerPoint, but about the way you behave in front of an audience.

Each course is conducted under Chatham House rules so that what you present about and how well you do stays in the room. There is no pass or fail.
